An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper to join a beautiful private chalet in Kitzbühel, Austria. Supporting a single principal, you will be responsible for maintaining the residence to an impeccable standard, ensuring it is always immaculate, organised and guest-ready.
This is a long-term position within a professional household, working alongside a dedicated team including a House Manager, Chef and additional housekeeping support across the principal's residences. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, particularly when it comes to luxury laundry, wardrobe care and maintaining the highest housekeeping standards.
Please note: Candidates must hold a valid EU passport with the right to work in Austria. Candidates already based in Kitzbühel or Austria will be highly preferred; however, exceptional applicants open to relocation will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping and detailed cleaning to exceptional standards
- Luxury laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Wardrobe organisation and garment maintenance
- Ensuring the chalet is always beautifully presented and guest-ready
- Running household errands
- Coordinating and liaising with contractors and handymen when required
- Occasional food and beverage service
- No cooking responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a private household is essential
- Exceptional candidates from luxury hotels or the superyacht industry will also be considered
- Must hold a valid EU passport with the right to work in Austria
- Candidates already based in Kitzbühel or Austria are preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly with laundry and wardrobe management
- Professional, discreet and proactive with a positive attitude
- Strong longevity in previous positions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small household team
- German language skills are not required
- Visible tattoos will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Package
- €60,000–€65,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- Relocation assistance available, including temporary accommodation for the first month if required
